A Școala Altfel day in Jurilovca
The children meet the farm animals and take part in creative workshops. Tap a photo to see it full size.

The alpacas
Piciu, Nino and Mexi eat from your hand and, in our yard, they don’t spit. The children learn what an alpaca eats and how to stroke it properly.

The goats and the donkeys
The goats Oana, Nadia, Ema and Kozel, who is crazy about cabbage, and the donkeys Rita and Luna, gentle and always keen on a carrot.

Bamby and Luța Mieluța
Bamby, the mini Shetland pony, and Luța Mieluța the sheep, best friend of Piciu the alpaca.

Painting on wood or canvas
The children paint on fretwork wood or on canvas, at tables set right in the yard, with the animals all around.

Painting with coloured sand
Every child goes home with their own picture made of coloured sand.

The garden and lunch
The children see how vegetables grow in the garden. If you like, we also serve lunch in the yard, at 40 lei per child.

The dogs and cats
Aki, the English setter who loves children, Beto, who wants to be stroked non-stop, and Piki, who asks you to open the gate for him. Plus the yard cats.

The yard birds
Japanese silkie chickens, runner ducks and geese. The children teach their classmates how to catch a hen before she runs off.

Outdoor play
They run, laugh and play in the yard of about 7,000 m², between the garden, the animals and the reed-roofed houses.
