If it rains

Come prepared: rubber boots or shoes that can get muddy, and a raincoat. It’s no drama, but it’s not the city pavement either: this is a country yard, with earth and grass.

Photo sessions in the yard

Photos with Daniela and Marian Sterea

We are professional photographers, so the yard is also a place for photo sessions with the animals, for children and families: with Bamby the pony, with the goat kids, with the ducks or next to the Lipovenesc boat. The animals are used to children, so the photos come out naturally, from play.

Daniela Sterea photographs families and children, and Marian Sterea has been a wedding and event photographer since 2009. For a photo session at the farm, call us at 0723 898 529.

Yard rules

So that everyone feels good, people and animals alike

The yard is our animals’ home. Please treat them gently and with respect.

  1. We stroke gently. We don’t pull the animals’ hair, ears or tails, and we don’t chase them.
  2. We only feed what we recommend. Please ask us before giving them anything to eat.
  3. Children stay close to an adult. The animals are gentle, but little ones need supervision.
  4. We close the gates behind us. That way the animals stay safe, and Piki doesn’t need to ask you anymore.
  5. Your dogs: small ones in your arms, large ones stay outside the yard.
  6. Only enter the pens together with one of us.
  7. No smoking in the yard. There is hay and there are reed roofs.
  8. Our alpacas don’t spit. Approach slowly and let them come to you.
